Siog Dolls are made in Ireland just south of the river Shannon in The West.They specialize in making a limited edition of collector dolls, which are handmade by experienced Irish craft Workers using traditionnal quality materials. Tweeds used are spun by weavers from Donegal to Kerry. Specialized knitting for Siog dolls' clothes are by outworkers who live in the mountains from Tipperary to the shores of Galway. Made to very high standard, each doll has its own identity number and history record, which is included in each package.
Crolly Dolls has developed and produced their own porcelain slip made from only the finest clays and ingredients. Each Irish porcelain doll that is created is looked upon as the very first and maintains the level of excellence for which Crolly Dolls is famous. Each Irish porcelain doll, from the genuine hand-knit woollens, to the hand-woven Donegal tweeds and linens, to the meticulous attention to detail, is lovingly crafted in Co. Donegal, Ireland. The Irish porcelain dolls stand 16 inches. The playdolls (noted in description) stand 19 inches.
